Growing into building my first projects. And they keep getting bigger and bigger. <br><br>Being a DIY enthousiast, just doing things I like to do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:46% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"218\" height=\"291\" src=\"https:\/\/wlrprojects.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/otherspeakers.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">As a kid growing up I&#8217;ve always enjoyed making things and many years later I still do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-text-subtitle has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">What really kicked off my DIY interest was building a first set of audio speakers from some old components my father had lying around. They sounded great (&#8230;) but the combination of woodworking and electronics really cought my interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Years later I still build speakers and some of them are on this website. But my DIY interest has grown.
